PLEASE NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for the third Sunday of January, postponed to the fourth Sunday due to a prediction of snow, and now it’s being postponed again to to a future month due to even more snow. We’ll post details for upcoming months soon.
Join us as we kick off our celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
On most tour days throughout 2026, we will be featuring Colonial skills and how they have changed over the past two and a half centuries. This month, visitors can learn about quilt making, rug braiding, and butter churning. Homemade butter will be served on brown bread and cornbread.
Tours are free, but donations are gratefully accepted and applied to our scholarship fund.
